Modena, Italy, my hometown

The beautiful Cathedral and “Ghirlandina” Tower in Modena’s big square. Modena is a city situated on the south side of the Po Valley, in the Province of Modena, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. An ancient town, it is renowned as the capital of the motor valley, since the factories of the famous Italian sports car makers Ferrari, De Tomaso, Lamborghini, Pagani and Maserati are, or were, located here. One of Ferrari’s cars, the “360 Modena”, was named after the town itself.

  1. Wow, that is a lot of big car makers in a small town. Just checked that its population is only about 180k.

I was thinking that if I was to visit this town, I would probably be more interested in the cars than in the history of the town itself. Is there any car museum in Modena?
