Colonia Tovar is a town of Venezuela, 42 Kms from Caracas, founded in 1843 by a group of immigrants from the then state of the Grand Duchy of Baden. This village maintains the cultural imprint of their origin, so it is called “the Germany of the Caribbean”. The “colonieros” are dedicated to agriculture and tourism.
