The trek is relatively newly opened and less touristic, eco lodge and family owned guest house stay hiking route in Annapurna Region . Mardi Himal trek begin from nearby Pokhara after short drive to Kande or Phadi. It is kind of short and moderate hike goes up to 4440m Mardi Himal Base Camp from 900m. It is just a perfect trek for week long taking. You begin from the plains, lakes, mountain villages, rhododendron forest and wildlife and peace of the great holy mountain Mt. Fishtail Machhapuchhre , Mardi Himal and all Annapurna Massif. The trek located east or Annapurna Base Camp and north from Pokhara. Only few trekkers make their walking holidays to this destination and Base Camp Hike where you can have spectacularly views of Mardi Himal and Machhapuchhre mountain very close.
During the 7 days hike, you will follow the famous Annapurna Base Camp Route to Deurali via Dhampus or Australian Camp, Pothana and Deurali. After that, follow the forest trail to Forest Camp slowly step up. Net day keep continue trek to Low forest Camp which is a fantastic day in Forest. Overlooking Mardi Himal and Mountain Range with the Glory of sunshine, Evening sunset in Mt. Fishtail and pokhara valley is memorable. Another day, you will hike up to High Camp which is our final goal and most important day during the trek. You need to walk about 8 hours great views of Himalayas, Mardi Himal, Fishtail and you will reach the highest point of this trek 4440m. After that keep walking through the village Siding, Lwang and Khora Muk are popular traditional Gurung/Magar Villages where you can view 100 years of their culture and lifestyle.
