Phajoding is a Buddhist Monastery and it is 3 hours uphill hike from Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. In 2010, Phajoding Monastery was watch listed as five endangered cultural monuments that needs attention by the world monument fund. Phajoding was founded by the 13th century tibetan highly revered saint Phajo Drugom Zhigpo.
