Memorial to poet Jan Skácel
An unusual sculpture stands on the slope of the Špilberk park in Brno, Czechia. More than two meter high, the face of poet Jan Skácel is looking down at the ancient centre of the city in which he lived and worked. The visitor can look in the same direction as if through the poet´s eyes because the sculpture consists of several thousand hollow steel pipes welded together horizontally. (Artist: Jiří Sobotka, 2016)

Pernštejn Castle in Nedvědice, a small town in Czechia (region: South Moravia). It displays typical features of Late Gothic style although the origins of a smaller castle here date back to 13th century. Admired by visitors, Pernštejn also attracts the filmmakers who love to shoot historical and fairy-tale films in this magic place.
Špilberk Castle (German: Spielberg) is situated on a hilltop in the centre of Brno, #Czechia. Established in the mid-13th century, later turned into a vast fortress and a dreaded prison. At present, it is the seat of the Brno City Museum.
A must-see aim to visitors and, to local inhabitants, a favourite place for walks in the extensive park.
